How to find us

La Grange du Saule is located in a small hamlet a short distance from the charming village of Marval in southern Haute Vienne. Our location borders the picturesque Dordogne and Charente regions, providing you with a perfect blend of rural tranquility and accessibility.

We are just a 20-minute drive northeast of Nontron and 44 minutes southwest of Limoges. Our convenient location allows for easy access by road, rail, or air.

By Road

If you prefer to drive, you can reach us from the UK by using the Channel Tunnel or a ferry from Dover, Newhaven, Portsmouth, Poole or Plymouth. It is a beautiful drive, and the roads in France are a total pleasure to navigate. Guests travelling from Europe should head south from Paris on the A10 or north from Toulouse on the A20.

By Rail

From Paris, board the SNCF train at Gare d'Austerlitz to Limoges, a journey of approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes. Upon arrival, you have the option to rent a car or take a taxi, our location is about a 50-minute drive. Alternatively, you could travel from Paris to Angoulême, which is approximately an hour away.

By Air:

Limoges (Bellegarde) Airport – 40 minutes’ drive

Brive (Souillac) Airport - 1 hour 50 minutes’ drive

Bergerac (Roumaniere) Airport - 1 hour 50 minutes’ drive

Bordeaux (Merignac) Airport – 2 hours 29 minutes’ drive
