The Beauty of Nature

Starry Nights

Swimming Pool

Reserved exclusively for your enjoyment, the swimming pool is located at the rear of the property, soaking up the sun throughout the day.

The spacious patio area offers plenty of room for sunbathing and relaxation by the poolside, equipped with sun loungers and cozy seating for a peaceful reading session. The pool has a consistent depth of 1.3 meters and dimensions of 8.5 by 4.5 meters, featuring built-in graduated steps with a handrail at one end for easy access and includes a shower for added convenience.

For added security, the pool is surrounded by a safety fence and the entrance is through a gate that meets French safety standards.

Walking and Cycling

Just minutes from the property, numerous woodland paths await, offering access to well-signposted, designated walking and cycling routes suitable for all levels, if you prefer there are many ‘Voie Verts’ (old railway routes) ideal for families.

Observing Nature

The region teems with wildlife, from the visiting deer to the woodpecker's rhythm, the buzzards' calls high above, or the night owl's hoots within the woods, these are a few of the natural marvels to cherish.

Wildlife enthusiasts can spot a varied collection of birds, insects, dragonflies, butterflies and sometimes a kingfisher near the lakes, either on the property or close by.

During spring and autumn, the remarkable spectacle and sound of migrating cranes flying overhead to warmer territories might also grace your presence.

Stargazing

The lack of light pollution reveals a stunning night sky. Many constellations become visible, and you might even witness the swift passage of a shooting star, all from the comfort of the garden.

At La Grange du Saule, the pressures of daily life can be effortlessly cast aside, allowing for a serene rejuvenation. The captivating environment and landscape engage your senses at every turn.

Relaxation is central to our gîte experience, but the surrounding area is rich with history, charming towns and villages with traditional weekly markets, and leisure lakes offering a variety of family activities. For more information, please see the 'Things To Do' section.
